New contest

Yes, I will finally make my third contest!

_{In German Traum means Dream so Traum:A spelled like this can be interepretated as Dream:A.

And no, I did not come up with this, the Band "Diary of Dreams" did .}

So my contest is about Traumas.

Definition: A trauma is a happening of an extreme threat with catastrophical degree. This can be both of physical and psychological nature.

Examples of experiences which can cause a trauma:
- violence
- war
- torture
- Sexual Abuse/rape
- psychological and physical maltreatement
- accidents
- catastrophe
- illnesses
- mobbing
- social exclusion
- neglect

There are different types of responses to a trauma.

- First there is the acute response which is shortly after the happening and will stop after some time
- posttraumatic stress disorder which will not begin before some time has passed and which can become chronic
- flashbacks cause through key stimulus
- complex posttraumatic stress disorders which can occur after chronic traumas

Your task (Rules)

Make a deviation about a trauma, caused by anything realistic.(Can be of the list above or of anything you can imagine).

You can show the Cause of the trauma, or any of the stages afterwards.

Your deviation can be a Photomanip, Mixed Media, Drawings/Illustrations (traditional and digital)

You have to use atleast one of my stock images (in traditional art as a reference), and not anyone but one from this folder: Stock for Trauma Contest
I want all the images to be original, so everyone should be done with a different, not yet used stock image!

I know that it could possibly happen that two people work at the same stock at the exactly same time, then I will also accept it, but please make sure that just before you start working on your entry, that you check if the stock is still "available".

You can use other stock, but please do follow the rules of the stock owner.

You can submit as many entries as you like to.

Donors can participate, judges cannot.

The contest starts today: January 25th and ends June 10th!

Your work must be new.

For every entry I will donate 5 cents to the kittens of ^Helewidis (And 5 dollars as a base). [link]

To submit the entry, write me a note with the thumb to it.

State in the description that it is for this contest, and explain what it has to do with traumas.
